That top one reminds me of my ‘96 Probe GT except that was in the 90s-tastic teal.

Everything was teal. MKII GTi in Calypso was great, but other cars didn’t pull it off so well.

I remember in the late 90s my sister had a dark purple Contour. It didn’t age well. Funniest thing, the key from it would start my mom’s Taurus.

I had a 96 GT in the bright red. Such a fun car.

Desert Coral always seemed like it was pre-faded at the factory for inattentive owners. Sort of like Edsel’s Chalk Pink.

Why don’t we get colors anymore? :(

Lots of fun, that V6 loved to rev, and surprisingly good in the snow. I bought mine with 13k on it and sold when it had 140k.

Nice! I had a 91 LX prior to that in high school. I bought the GT with a bad engine and swapped in a KLZE and the usual supporting mods. Eventually did the FD wheels, Tokico 5-ways, and way too much other stuff.

I miss teal. I miss two-tone paint-jobs.
I had a 93 Ranger Extra-cab with teal and tan two-tone paint, and at the time, but hindsight is 20/20.

This was an actual interior offered on the Taurus:

I did much the same with my 93 MX-6, except I went for the BBS FC convertible wheels (had the centers machined out to fit the bigger MX-6 hub).

I dub this: Barney meets Bubblicious.

That’s a very unusual Taurus. Usually the steering wheel is on the other side.

Taurus colour looks ok
